As the chapter of 2023 is almost closed, we saw the blockbusters with the likes of Oppenheimer, Barbie, and more. A great part of the movie fanatics loved it and will likely be looking forward to more entertainment pieces like them for the year 2024 that are ready to unfold soon.

Having said that, Spectrum TV can help you find the right set of channels (HBO, Disney+, and more) where you can endlessly stream the latest movies in your home and on the go.

2024 can be safely termed as an exciting year when it comes to movies with Mufasa: The Lion King, Joker: Folie à Deux and more to be released.

Without further ado, let’s explore the top 7 most anticipated movies in 2024.

Joker: Folie à Deux

The Joker 2019 grossed over a whopping 1 billion at the box office. The majority of the watchers loved the movie and they had been in a wait for the next part.

The better news? It is going to be released in 2024 with the title Joker: Folie à Deux which means a similar mental disorder in two or more individuals of a family.

The R-rated movie is reported to have a musical element to it with Lady Gaga said to be joining Joaquin Phoenix. The male actor won an Oscar for his sublime acting for the role of Joker in 2019 film.

We can’t wait to see what he presents this time, do you?

Mufasa: The Lion King

Directed by Barry Jenkins, the animated movie is the prequel to The Lion King in which the backstory of Simba’s father Mufasa will be explored.

The Lion King is already a big success and is one of the most loved animated movies of all time equally among both kids and adults. So, there are supposedly high expectations from the one to be released in 2024.

Aaron Pierre will voice young Mufasa in Mufasa: The Lion King. Kelvin Harrison Jr. will be playing the Scar (aka Taka in the movie).

Captain America: Brave New World

The Falcon as seen in the Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will be starring in the cinemas with the new Captain America: Brave New World.

Tim Blake who was seen as a villain The Leader in the teaser of The Incredible Hulk will get the role revived.

Harrison Ford can also be seen starring as Thaddeus Ross after the death of the original actor in the role, William Hurt.

All in all, this Marvel piece is to be the one worth watching.

A Quiet Place: Day One

With the already huge success of the Quiet Place Part 1 and 2, A Quiet Place: Day One (you can call it as part 3) is ready to get back in action.

The story revolves around the first days of the creepy blood-thirsty creature on the Earth and the great struggle of people to survive.

Michael Sarnoski is the director of the movie. The cast of the movie will get a revamp with a few familiar faces: Djimon Hounsou will be on the screen as seen in A Quiet Place Part 2.

Gladiator 2

The Gladiator came on the big screen with flying colors in 2000 and the ones who watched it have been longing for a sequel.

Well, here it is. Though the dates are not confirmed, The Gladiator 2 will be released in 2024. The movie will be directed by Ridley Scott and we will see the return of Lucius, a grown-up one played by Paul Mescal. He has become the emperor and Lucilla, too, will be back and played by Connie Nielsen.

Venom 3

The Venom franchise is set to produce the sequel to Venom 2. Tom Hardy, as expected, will be starring in the role. Neither there is any trailer yet nor do we know any of the plot twists for the movie.

The franchise termed Venom 3 as the final chapter of the franchise production. But to the Venom fandom, they might see the character in other comical movies.

Despicable Me 4

Another animated movie in our lineup, Despicable Me 4, directed by Chris Renaud and Patrick Delage, will be released in 2024.

Minions: The Rise of Gru, was the last piece released two years ago. The one to be seen on big screens will determine which master will be heading the Minions.

Summing Up

The bottom line? All of the movies we mentioned are worth the wait and worth the watch. We will be updating the list as soon as we get latest reports for the release dates, plot twists (not spoilers), and more. So, stay tuned with us.
